Tofino to Victoria

We all had hangovers...... but we continued on the moose tour. We drove to the Long beach. Firstly we walked the Schooner Walk which meets the long beach and walked along the beach til we met the driver bit further down.

Long Beach Unit - One of three units in Pacific Rim park, this unit contains about 25 km of beaches, including the marquee 11 km Long Beach. You can often catch glimpses of mist shooting high above the waves from the 21,000 Pacific Grey Whales passing by on their 10,000 km journey from California to Alaska.

Our next stop was Cathedral Grove. A old growth walk..... yep my favourite thing to do..... after all i am a tree hugger. :-D It contains lots of Douglas Figs and there is this 800 years old fig...... wow so huge and so tall.

We drove onto Coombs and had lunch there. The markets were open so I took a WAM but didn't buy anything.

Next stop was Chemainus. It was blah blah. At least we can stretch our legs.

Chemainus - Has Canada's largest permanent outdoor art gallery. Today, more than 300,000 visitors come to town check out the 33 "larger than life" murals.

Finally in Victoria. Had dinner at Reef Restaurant. Then i went back to the hostel to sleep as other went to Big Bad Johns.
