Vancouver to Tofino

Well my driver is Micha.... a man name. We boarded BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay heading for the vancouver island arriving in Nanimo. Got there around lunch time. We drove through Coombs and saw some goats grazing on the roof. Yep and there is foto to prove it.

Our first stop was at Little Qualicum Falls.

Little Qualicum Falls - Hike to these waterfalls in a 440 hectare Provincial Park.

Next stop was at Sproat Lake and Petroglyph Park. It wasn't that exciting......

Sproat Lake Provincial Park - Home to Petroglyphs (ancient carvings in the rock) and the world's largest water bombers (they carry 27 tons of water!) used for fighting forest fires.

We drove onto Wickaninnish Beach. Aah finally a beach...... the water was so bloody cold.
